I can’t figure out who came up with the idea of a ‘40 hour work
week’ as being the most productive.

Corporations and companies seem to think that 40 hours is a good
starting point to get the most productivity out of their workers.
Heck, some wish they could make it 60 hours or more, to squeeze
every last bit of life out of the employees… which in turn,
they believe, will make them more money in the long run.

San… this is weird.
